The sea never gets old, it always entertains us, starting with beach food walkers, sports games, or attractions that cannot exist without sea assistance. Attraction in French means attraction, perhaps it attracts collective relaxation or the pleasure of having fun. When I painted this canvas, I immediately remembered the banana ride, because I never had the opportunity or desire to ride it in my life.
I have sometimes observed how this inflatable watercraft, resembling a huge yellow berry, is dispersed by a jet ski or a boat. Participants of the banana ride sit on a large inflatable tube, and somewhere in the distance behind the buoys they start squealing like crazy if the driver decides to turn them over. When dispersing a banana, they are much closer to the water than in similar attractions. Such is an attractive entertainment object, similar to a giant banana!
